Management Consultancies Association of Hong Kong

One of Hong Kong's key advantages as a business and management centre is the SAR's cluster of professional service providers, which creates value in its own right and supports the critical value-adding activities of the rest of the economy as well. Management consulting is an important component of this cluster.

The industry is expected to grow considerably as markets expand in Hong Kong and China. Hong Kong-based consultancy practices have not nearly met their potential, as both opportunities and threats are pushing Hong Kong companies to develop and employ leading edge management tools and techniques. Hong Kong-based management consultants will play an important role in this process.

To promote the professional services offered by Hong Kong management consultancy companies and to represent the interests of the sector, the Management Consultancies Association of Hong Kong was established in 1999.
