Management Consultancies Association of Hong Kong (MCAHK) and Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) of Trade and Industry Department jointly presented a SME seminar "Management Consultancy and SME Growth" at Lecture Theatre of Hong Kong Central Library on 16 February 2006. The seminar was attended by about 150 representatives of SMEs from a wide variety of industries.

The specific focus was on the roles of management consultants in the process of business development, and introduce their support and services for SMEs.

Speakers at the event included Mr. William Lam of Hui & Lam Solicitors & Notaries, Mr. Anthony Ng of Fok Chan Leung Wan CPA Limited, Mr. Daniel Tang and Mr. Larry Lo of K K Yeung Management Consultants Ltd. and Mr. Jonathan Wong of VentureForge (Holdings) Limited.

Topic discussed varied from how legal advice and financial management suppports SMEs to how management consultants diagnoses enterprises' problems, maximizes an enterprise's potential and assists business starters to obtain funding. The seminar finished with an enthusiastic question and answer session.
